Surf is surf no matter where you do it but each place definitely has it's own pluses.
California (Southern California):
Warmish sometimes Trunkable Water
Sunny for the most part
A lot more Alternative Surfcraft floating about in the water
A 4:3 is the most you'll ever need
The post surf food places in the world
United Kingdom (Cornwall):
Secret Spots(Yes California has them too but there are far more in Cornwall)
If it's onshore somewhere, odds are it'll be off shore somewhere else because of all the nooks and crannies in the coast
Epic Scenery on the way to, during, and coming back from surfing
It sucks being in such thick wetsuits with booties, gloves and a twat cap during the winter but it's an awesome feeling knowing that it's minus 2 outside and you're nice and toasty
